Jordan’s bio

Jordan Croucher
Halifax born Jordan Croucher had a childhood dream of being in music. From being lead singer in a university jazz band, Shades of Grove, to to a fully fledged R&B sensation, Jordan has never missed a beat.
In the summer of 2007 Jordan’s debut album, No Dress Code was released after being developed for more than 2 years. Produced by Classified (Luke Boyd), the music is a fusion of R&B and soul music with a touch of hip-hop. The most successful single was “Selfish Times” which appeared at #37 on Canada’s national Top 100 Airplay on the radio.
The music videos off the album have been well received on television. Within a week of it’s release his first video “Feelin’ Fine remix” was Vibe Rated video of the week, and got medium play on Much Music and heavy rotation on Much Vibe. Other videos have also been met with huge success such as “So Addicted”, “Selfish Time”, “Won’t Let Go” and “It’s Raining”.
No Dress Code has got Jordan numerous nominations and recognition at award shows around the Country. He won the 2007 CBC Glaxie Rising Star Award at the 10th annual African Nova Scotian Music awards show. More recently, along with his 2008 East Coast Music Association nomination for Urban Single Track Recording of the Year, Croucher’s talent was featured in the CBC special Barenaked East Coast Music.
Jordan has toured with many musical superstars such as Classified, Maestro, D.O., JBru, Jay Bizzy and Mic Boyd. His talent has also been highlighted when opening for internationally acclaimed superstars, Ne-Yo, Snoop Dogg, Rhianna, Nas, Kardinal Offishall, Young Buck, Juelz Santana, and K-OS.
Jordan’s dedication to his music, as well as his community, has given him the opportunity to be a role model for young people everywhere and to gain an ever-growing fan base. His latest venture and display of commitment has moved him down to New York City, to work on music and to continue to grow as an artist. With the help of Kuya productions, a talented team from Toronto, Jordan has begun working on his sophomore album.
